Jennifer Mann

Jennifer Mann is an illustrator living on Bainbridge Island, Washington. Years ago, she decided to become an architect to support her addiction to drawing, but the creative fix was not what she had hoped for. Recently she has turned to children’s book illustration to satisfy her creative needs, and the fit has been perfect.

Jennifer works in a variety of media, primarily gouache, and acrylic with collage. She loves to develop quirky, original characters captured in the midst of their own interesting stories. She hopes to someday publish the stories that these characters have inspired. Jennifer shares her artistic passion with her architect/artist husband, and two very creative children. Their four cats and one Corgi have not yet shown any interest in drawing.
