eKITE Speaker Directory

eKITE is SCBWI Western Washington’s online speaker directory of regional authors, illustrators, and storytellers who are available for school visits and other speaking engagements. Librarians, teachers, and other educators or event planners may download it for free, anytime. The directory is updated each fall and contains listings both for celebrated authors and illustrators. All listed speakers have been published by recognized (traditional) publishing houses.

Authors and illustrators: Want your listing included?
Listings in eKITE are available exclusively for Published and Listed (P.A.L.) members of SCBWI International who live and work in the Western Washington region. If you meet those criteria and would like to include your information in the eKITE directory, simply provide us with your speaking details when you sign up for regional programming – on or before November 20, 2009 for inclusion in the 2009-2010 directory.

In addition to Western Washington’s regional eKITE, SCBWI International hosts a searchable directory of speakers who are available to teachers and librarians. To be included in the SCBWI International Speaker Directory -in addition to eKITE or in the event that you’ve missed this year’s eKITE deadline - simply login as a member on www.scbwi.org and complete the form under “Manage My Speaker Listing.”
