The Chinook

The Chinook is a 20-page print newsletter produced quarterly by SCBWI Western Washington. It is mailed to anyone who signs up for SCBWI Western Washington' regional programming. Inside, you'll find articles and illustrations, local news and events, interviews with authors and illustrators, announcements, marketing tidbits, and more. Regular features include:

• From the Regional Advisor's Notebook - updates from our Co-Regional Advisors
• Good News - celebrating our writing and illustrating successes
• Grammar Gremlins - to assist you with those pesky details
• Calendar of Events - including Events and Conferences, Library and Bookstore Events, Contests and Awards, Writing and Illustrating Classes
• Upcoming Meetings - Detailed information about our meetings and conferences

January 15 [February 15 - May 31 issue]
April 15 [May 15 - August 31 issue]
July 15th [August 15 - November 30 issue]
Note: SCBWI Western Washington reserves the right to edit or not use submissions.
